There are Many Different Types of Massage

Swedish:
A relaxing massage using long slow, gliding movements to manipulate muscle. Encourages relaxation, increases the movement of body fluids (Toxins), and soothes the nervous system.


Reflexology:
A form of compression massage, Reflexology is based on the principles that reflex points in the hands and feet are related to every organ in the body. By applying pressure to a reflex point, the therapist can effect certain beneficial changes.


Shiatsu:
Japanese massage, the client is clothed lying on a mat on the floor. By applying pressure to points on the meridians, the natural recuperative powers of the body are generated, toxins are dispersed, muscles are relaxed, circulation of the blood and lymph are improved, energy is released or balanced, and the entire body is revitalized.


Deep Tissue Massage:
Tecniques that aim to effect the various layers of fascia that support muscle tissues and loosen bonds between the layers of connective tissues.


Medical Massage:
Massage for injuries like Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, tendonitis, and many more. For relief of chronic pain patterns within the body. This type of therapy varies with what is going on with the clients body at the time of the session.


Lymphatic:

Pregnancy, New Born and Infant Massage:

La Stone Therapy:
Is a 90 minute massage using smooth Basalt stones. The technique requires stones of various tempertures- 54 Hot, 18 frozen, and 1 room temperature- placed on and under the body and used to massage the body, which, when employed in combination, relieves sore muscles, increase blood flow, and promote healing.


Cupping Massage:This is effective in reducing and eliminating cellulite. It activates, stimulates and rejuvenates the lymphatic system with a reverse deep tissue massage technique. The cellulite treatment process creates a flow of fresh oxygenated blood that is rich in natural nutrients, causing the release and clearing of waste and toxins from natural fat cells.
